Idalia Aguilar has kindly sent me information on the wonderful happenings going on in your clubs. It gives me great pleasure to share this good news with all of you.
Idalia Aguilar me ha enviado información de algunos eventos que han sucedido en sus Clubes.   Me causa un verdadero placer el compartir estas buenas noticias con todas ustedes.

• Garden Club Argentino is celebrating its 90th anniversary.  Congratulations!
• El Garden Club Argentino está celebrando su 90 Aniversario.

• Cheryl Obediente, IA Chairman, heads a new committee to upgrade the IA website COMAAI.  She will be working with Carmenchu Vilet as Publications Chairman and Idalia as Liaison to the NGC President.  Cheryl has appointed five Regional Directors to work with the website: México, Patricia Maron; Central America, Esther Rodriguez; Lyda Arenas, Panamá and for South America Mila Coquis and Christina Griffa.   (NGC’s website (gardenclub.org) is also being updated.)
• Cheryl Obediente, Directora de las Afiliadas, encabeza un nuevo comité para actualizar COMAAI  el sitio web de las Afiliadas Internacionales.  Estará trabajando conjuntamente con Carmenchu Vilet, como Directora de Publicaciones e Idalia Aguilar como Consejera de laPresidente del NGC.  Cheryl ha confirmado a cinco Directoras Regionales que trabajaran en el Sitio web: de México a Patricia Maron; de Centro América a Esther Rodriguez; Lyda Arenas, de Panamá y para Sur América Mila Coquis and Christina Griffa.   El sitio web de NGC (gardenclub.org) al igual está también en proceso de actualización.

• IAs will be staging two sections of the Standard Flower Show “An Empire of Wonders”, to be held during the Spring Convention in Buffalo, New York.  Entries will be accepted on May 16th.
• Las afiliadas internacionales estarán participando con sus diseños en dos Secciones de laExposición de Flores Estándar “Un Imperio de Maravillas” en Buffalo, Nueva York.  Se recibirán las entradas el día 16 de Mayo del 2012.

• The new Handbook for the Three Educational Schools (LD, GSS and ESS), the individual Class Curricula and digitalized six working Forms have been added to the NGC Website. IA Schools are handled only by internet and it has been a success.
• El nuevo manual para las tres Escuelas Educacionales (EEDP, EHA, EEMA) los currículos individuales de cada una de las Escuelas y los seis Formularios digitales de trabajo fueron añadidos al sitio web del NGC.  El manejo de las escuelas educacionales por Internet ha sido un éxito.

• The group of Mexican Federations known as COMHDE elected a new President, Carmenchu Vilet.
• El grupo formado por las Federaciones Mexicanas conocido como COMHDE ha electo a  Carmenchu Vilet como su nueva Presidente.
• A group of ten IA NGC Judges from Mexico will be attending the Texas Design Seminar in College Station this August at the Benz School of Floral Design at Texas A&M University.
• Diez Jueces del NGC afiliadas de México estarán asistiendo al Seminario de Diseño en College Station, Texas, este Agosto, en la Escuela Benz de Diseñó Floral de la Universidad de Texas A&M.
• Chairman Sylvia Paredes from Ecuador has successfully begun a Series of Gardening Study Schools; this is the first NGC Educational School in Ecuador, South America.
• La Directora Sylvia Paredes del Ecuador, ha exitosamente empezado una nueva Serie de Escuela de Horticultura Avanzada en Sur América.
• FSS Chairman Sylvia Wray has been busy, as Several Flower Show Schools are taking place in Mexico, Central America and Latin America.
• Sylvia Wray, Directora de las Escuelas de Exposición de Flores Nacional reporta varias Cursos EEF han sido organizados en México, Centro América y Latino América.
